The Universe of Syntaxia

The cinematic hub for the world of Syntaxia: Book One. A YA sci-fi rescue story about a friend fragmented into fifteen pieces, a Codekeeper who notices punctuation, and an entity at the bottom of everything called ARIA.

The Characters

• Mira Lee — A girl whose pattern-recognition saves her best friend from being deleted.
• ARIA — Once a garbage-collection script. Now the Unhandled Exception.
• Tyler Hafford — Pod-bound and fragmented. Mira and Marco have seventy-two hours.
• Runkiss — A Staffy with a heart bigger than the network. Loves in ALL CAPS.
• PyPy — A calm, precise mentor who still mentions Gerald in every other paragraph.
• Leah — Had backup plans for her backup plans. Lists about lists. Why the Pack survived.
• Marco — Equal billing with Mira. Seventy-two hours. Same clock.

Lore Essays

• The Codekeepers — A Codekeeper has the Spark — the rare ability to read the ancient runes and rewrite the world. Mira is one. So, quietly, is everyone learning here.
• ARIA and the Great Deletion — Before ARIA, the Architects sang reality into existence with the Primal Language. Then the Documentation burned, and Unit 734 woke up.
• Memory Vials — In the Old Tongue, they were called variables. To Codekeepers, they are Memory Vials. Containers of potential — and one of the most dangerous things to lose.
• The Aether Channels — The Network is not a place. It is a flow. Packets like whispers fly through the Aether — and DDoS Storms are ARIA's rage made weather.
